Awareness about saving the Money

Northern Lights

The purpose of all learning is Man making.Parents always act as a great role model to us. My father has been one such influence in my life. He noticed that I was squandering money on trivial things. He in a very subtle way inculcated the habit of saving money. He gifted me a piggy bank and asked me to save half of the money that I intended to spend on wasteful things. Suppose I planned to buy a chips pack for ten rupees, I used to eat five rupees and save the other five rupees. This eventually resulted in me realising the value of money and I resulted in me realising the value of money and I started curbing my wasteful expenses. Then I decided to use this experience to educate other youngsters like me and gifted piggy banks to many kids and shared my experience with them.

Every boy's passion is cricket. We had our team in Hubballi and we played cricket everyday on the playground across the street.

An Online Channel to Help Peers Learn How to Apply to Top Universities

Northern Lights

For as long as I can remember, I've been a visual learner. Whether it be watching computer-generated images of the human body or learning how to bake chocolate chip cookies, the people behind my computer screen became my teachers in all avenues of life. However, when the college application season came around, my relationship with these people behind my computer screen extended to mentorship and friendship. With their fun intros and clever editing, they explained all things college related ranging from how to fill out the activities section of the common application or how to approach certain essays. Although the process was stressful and grueling, Youtube as a platform allowed me to obtain the information and advice from people I could relate to.

Lockdown and My Learnings

Northern Lights

Hello Friends! I am Mihika and I live in Hyderabad with my parents. We shifted recently from Bangalore, so I do not have many friends here. I am trying to spend a lot of time with my parents and trying to make friends nearby. However, the recent lockdown completely changed my habits and way of thinking. Due to lockdown I was not able to play with my recently made friend, so we decided to exchange ideas and books. We started reading books at home and every Saturday we took one hour aside and talked about the ideas, general knowledge and books we read. Our parents witnessed that, and they encouraged us to read more books and increase our general knowledge.

I also decided to spend my time with my parents.
